After a struggle with our database (numerous outages, problems at the server, etc) the RLC has decided to settle at YAHOO GROUPS. There are many reasons for this selection. Among these:
  • Many Reps are already members of the RLC Group at Yahoo
  • Many people have free Yahoo accounts
  • Database maintained by Yahoo staff, ready for our info
  • Photo album
  • A number of people can oversee the group (division of labour)
  • Diary for events and gatherings
  • Links to RLC Rep pages, or web pages reps would like to share with us
  • Chat room
  • File sharing (ie. for fliers & printable documents)
  • Polls for our members
  • Member control
  • Mailing list & special anouncement features
  • It's free!!! (no dues for our Reps!)
