SUZUKI SENDS OUT RECALL LETTERS
Have you been
aware of gas (petrol) fumes from your bike? It could be that you are one of
the people affected by this message from SUZUKI. This RECALL affects
those of you with bikes from 1998-2006 (so, basically, that's ALL of us!).
SUZUKI is asking you to make appointments with your local Suzuki dealer, to
have the gas tank adjusted so it will not put you at any further risk.

these two letters which were sent to a concerned owner:

Please note in these letters it states:
"SUZUKI STRONGLY RECOMENDS YOU DO
NOT RIDE YOUR AFFECTED 1998 - 2006 VL 1500 LC OR C90/T BOULEVARD MOTORCYCLE
UNTIL THE REPAIR HAS BEEN COMPLETED"
